Lorpen Cold Weather System Socks

The T2 Cold Weather System is comprised of two socks: and inner and an outer layer. Each layer can be worn separately in warm weather or together for maximum warmth in cold weather.

The Outer Layer is made with MERINO BLEND for all-day warmth while wicking moisture away from the foot to keep you dry. Knit with medium cushioning for added protection against the inner boot liner. It can be worn on it’s own during Spring of Autumn weather. MERINO BLEND yarn complements the main benefits of the superfine MERINO WOOL (softness, natural warmth, anti-odor, etc.).

The Inner Layer is made with a high MERINO WOOL content and is non cushioned for lightweight moisture control. This layer can be worn on it’s own during hot Summer weather. MERINO WOOL is a finely crimped and soft wool with staples that are commonly 65 – 100 mm long. The core of a merino fibre is hydrophilic (water retaining), and is breathable. The fine micron diameter ensures it feels soft and comfortable next to the skin. Merino has the ability to help keep the foot warm in winter and cool in summer.

The STRETCH NYLON with LYCRA® content helps these socks stay up on your feet all day long without bunching up at the toes. On the one hand, NYLON is a synthetic continuous fibre that is characterized by its resistance and capacity to cushion. On the other hand, LYCRA® is a synthetic elastane fiber that can stretch up to six times its length and return to its original state.

You can combine both layers for extreme protection in cold weather. The T2 Cold Weather System sock has the versatility to manage warm feet in a variety of weather conditions.
